It has been 30 years since the famous poet Mohsin Naqvi passed away from his fans, Mohsin Naqvi, the poet of loneliness and pain, was born on May 5, 1947, in Dera Ghazi Khan. His full name was Syed Ghulam Abbas. Mohsin Naqvi's romantic poetry was also very popular among the youth. Apart from poetry, he was also skilled in writing elegies.
This Revolutionary poet with a unique style, Mohsin Naqvi
left a deep impression on literature. His works include Band Quba, Azaab Deed,
Khema Jaan, Barg Sahra, Tolo Ashk and others. Many of his ghazals and poems are
still popular today and are considered the capital of Urdu literature.
The shining lamp of literature went out on January 15, 1996,
however, its light will always live on in the form of poetry.
