According to various sources, serious concerns have been
raised about the illegal sale of United Arab Emirates (UAE) diplomatic visas
and biometric appointments in Islamabad , The diplomatic police recently
detained some elements who were allegedly involved in this illegal business.
However, it is also alleged that these accused were released after taking a
huge bribe after arrest, which raises serious questions about the
implementation of the law and accountability.
On the other hand, the CDA shuttle service is also being
severely criticized. The public says that this service has become a major
obstacle instead of providing convenience, due to which, especially the poor
and deserving people are not able to complete their mandatory fingerprint and
biometric appointments in Pakistan.
As a result of this situation, many people have had to
suffer serious financial losses. Many people have had their visas and medical
reports expired and they have lost their savings. According to the affected
people, this process has become very complicated, non-transparent and
financially unaffordable.
The affected citizens have strongly appealed to the UAE
Embassy, the Diplomatic Police and the Director DMA Madam Anam Fatima, as
well as the Chairman CDA, to take immediate and effective measures, make the
system transparent, ensure the rule of law and introduce a professional and
people-friendly system that is a source of convenience for ordinary citizens,
not a source of exploitation.
This case highlights the need for urgent institutional
reforms, strict monitoring and a zero-tolerance policy against corruption so
that legal and diplomatic matters can be conducted in a dignified, fair and
efficient manner.
