The Punjab Chief Minister has set a deadline for the completion of other hospitals, including Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital, Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Institute in Sargodha.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed to open Nawaz
Sharif Cancer and Jinnah Cardiology Institute in Lahore this month. The
basement and ground floor of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and
Research Center have been completed, the waiting area for patients, the mosque
and the residences of doctors have also been completed.
Pakistan’s first Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment
and Research Center will be launched this month. Recruitment of doctors and
professional staff has started in the center.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has also ordered the completion
of the reconstruction of Lady Willingdon Hospital as soon as possible. Every
cancer patient coming from all over Pakistan will be treated at the Nawaz
Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research Center.
