A theft has been reported at the post office in the Tarlai
area of the federal capital, Islamabad, where unknown thieves entered through a
window and stole various goods before fleeing.
According to the post office staff, the thieves took
medicine, parcels and important documents with them, while several parcels were
found open, with the goods also missing. The value of the stolen goods has not
yet been determined.
After the incident, a written application has been submitted
to the Shehzad Town Police Station for registration of a case by the postmaster
and the higher officers have also been informed of the situation.
Due to the theft incident, mail delivery from the Tarlai
Post Office remained completely suspended, causing severe difficulties for the
citizens.
