FIA conducted a successful operation in Quetta and arrested an accused, involved in human trafficking.


QUETTA - The Federal Investigation Agency, Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Quetta, has intensified operations against elements involved in human trafficking in Balochistan. In this regard, during a successful operation, an accused involved in the illegal trafficking of Afghan nationals was arrested.

The FIA, acting on a tip-off, raided Western Bypass, Quetta and arrested the accused Sanaullah. The accused was part of an organized human trafficking network.

Two mobile phones were recovered from the accused, which during initial examination, revealed contacts with other human traffickers on WhatsApp. Chats, photos and records present in the mobile phones indicate that the accused was involved with other accomplices in the illegal migration of Afghan refugees.

The accused was also found to have links with a person named Hussain Ali Mubariz, who allegedly facilitates the bypassing of NADRA processes during the voluntary repatriation of Afghan nationals. Apart from this, the accused also had direct links with human traffickers based in the Spin Boldak area of ​​Afghanistan. A vehicle used for human trafficking has also been seized.

The accused is currently in the custody of the FIA ​​, and further investigation is underway. Raids are being conducted to arrest other individuals involved in this network.

The FIA ​​reiterates its resolve to continue its operations against human trafficking and strict legal action will be taken against the elements involved in this nefarious business.
