Customs Enforcement seizes smuggled goods worth Rs. 326.3 million


  

The Collectorate of Islamabad has seized a huge consignment of smuggled goods worth Rs 226.3 million in a successful intelligence-based operation. The operation is part of the Collectorate’s effective crackdown on smuggling and illegal trade.

The seized goods include 53,180 kg of chalaia, 180 bags of Chinese salt, 251 bags of plastic granules, 30 generator dynamos, 1,600 kg of men’s and women’s clothes and two passenger buses.

The operation was based on credible intelligence inputs.

The FBR, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, is committed to protecting the national economy through stringent measures against smuggling and illegal trade.
