In a strict move to ensure discipline in the Levies Force in
Quetta, 31 personnel have been dismissed from their jobs.
A formal notification was issued in this regard. According
to the notification, those dismissed include 3 wireless operators and 28 soldiers.
The notification states that the said personnel were absent for a long time and
did not report for duty despite repeated instructions.
According to Levies officials, the personnel were issued
orders by the competent authority several times, but they did not implement
them, on which action was taken under departmental rules.
The notification makes it clear that absence from duty and
disobedience of orders will not be tolerated in the Levies Force under any
circumstances.
Officials say that professional responsibility, discipline
and public service are being given top priority in the force, and strict action
will continue against such violations in the future as well.
