A delegation of the UAE business group met Prime Minister
Shehbaz Sharif and expressed interest in the digital economy.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister welcomed the growing
interest of Emirati investors in Pakistan’s digital economy and said that
Pakistan and the UAE have brotherly relations based on mutual trust and
respect.
The Prime Minister said that bilateral relations are moving
in the direction of further economic cooperation and investment. The recent
visit of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Pakistan further strengthened
the partnership between the two countries and created a conducive atmosphere
for the promotion of bilateral cooperation.
He said that the recent high-level contacts and exchanges
have increased mutual trust between the private sectors and investors of
Pakistan and the UAE and have provided a strong foundation for the promotion of
mutual cooperation. The government attaches importance to business-to-business cooperation.
