Karachi: A major decline in gold prices has been recorded in
bullion markets across Pakistan.
According to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers
Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 43,600 to Rs 447,762,
while the price of 10 grams of gold in the country decreased by Rs 37,380 to Rs
338,883.
On the other hand, the price of gold in the global market
decreased by $ 436 to $ 4,250 per ounce.
This is the biggest drop in the price of gold in a single
day, the price of gold per tola has fallen by Rs 1.2 million from its highest
level.
In addition, there has been a significant decline in the price of silver, which became cheaper by Rs 800 per tola, after which the price of silver in the country became Rs 6,884 per tola.
