Due to a massive price hike in fuel due to the war conditions in the Middle East, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif requested the nation to follow an austerity policy to ease the burden of the common people. In this regard, PM also ordered the AGPR to cut the salaries of Government employees.
The salaries of employees of the following departments are
expected to be cut by 5 to 30 percent.
