Washington: American media have claimed that Russia is indirectly helping Iran during the ongoing war in the Middle East and is providing it with secret information for attacks on American targets.
According to media reports, Russia provided Iran with
important information about the positions of American warships and aircraft,
which made Iran’s attacks more effective and accurate.
US media say that since the start of the war, Russia has
been continuously informing Iran about the location of American military
assets, which is helping to plan Iranian attacks more systematically.
The media report says that American military installations,
radar systems and command centers are among Iran’s potential targets and that
Iranian attacks are being carried out with great precision and strategy.
On the other hand, the CIA and the Pentagon have refused to
comment on the issue regarding Russian cooperation, while the Russian embassy
in the US has also avoided answering the question of intelligence cooperation.
US officials further say that China does not currently
appear to be providing any kind of defense assistance to Iran.
