Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that
Russia may consider cutting off gas supplies to Europe after the Iran war led
to a rise in energy prices.
In his statement, he said that the European Union wants to
impose an embargo on Russian gas and LNG. Putin said that if sanctions are
imposed on Russian gas and oil, it could be beneficial for Russia to turn to
other markets.
According to foreign media, as Europe's dependence on
Russian energy decreases, Moscow is moving towards other markets, including China.
The war in the Middle East has entered its sixth day, with
the US and Israel indiscriminately bombing Iran, in which civilians are being
targeted, while Iran is targeting US bases and Israeli military installations.
Meanwhile, the US is also trying to conspire with the Iraqi
Kurds so that the Iraqi Kurds launch ground attacks against Iran, but the Iraqi
Kurds are still hesitant.
