According to the details, the FIA registered case No.
11/2026 dated April 07, 2026, which was reported by Assistant Commissioner
Islamabad Muhammad Ali. As per the FIR, the FIA received confidential
information that CDA diesel was being stolen and sold to private individuals.
On receiving the information, the FIA team conducted a raid near MPO Office
H-10/3, Kashmir Highway, Islamabad.
During the operation, a marked note of Rs 5,000 was given to
the accused by an FC official as a trap. The accused presented himself as the
in-charge of a diesel pump managed by CDA. During the raid, the said Rs 5,000
note was recovered from the pocket of accused Munawar Shah, while a container
full of diesel and records were also seized. While another habitual accused Rab
Nawaz Guard, escaped.
