Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Navy successfully tested a locally
developed ship-launched anti-ship missile.
According to the ISPR, the missile hit its target at a high
speed and long range with great accuracy. The missile is equipped with a modern
guidance system and high speed, and is capable of hitting targets at a
distance.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf witnessed the
missile firing along with senior scientists and engineers. The successful test
is an important milestone in naval defense and technology.
According to the ISPR, this successful test reflects a
significant progress in the defense capabilities of the Pakistan Navy.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
and the military leadership congratulated the successful test of the locally
