Lahore: PML-N leader and former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafique says that government constraints are somehow right, but the increase in the price of petroleum products will bring the worst wave of inflation.
In his message on social media, Khawaja Saad Rafique wrote
that the sharp increase in the price of petroleum products has led to the worst
wave of inflation. But how will the common man live?
He further wrote that the poor will die poor while
fulfilling the IMF conditions and the middle class will go below the poverty
line.
The former federal minister said that if the American and
Zionist attacks on Iran do not end immediately, millions of people in the third
world will starve. It should be noted that last night, the federal government
increased the price of petrol and diesel by the largest amount in the country's
history.
The government increased the price of petrol by Rs 137.24
per liter, while the price of diesel by Rs 184.49. After the recent increase,
the new price of petrol has become Rs 458.41 and the new price of diesel has
become Rs 520.35.
