According to Indian media reports, the close friends and
Bollywood personalities that Karan Johar has unfollowed include Shah Rukh Khan,
Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, Varun Dhawan,
Sidharth Malhotra and renowned designer Manish Malhotra.
However, Karan Johar is still following actress Priyanka
Chopra, while his following list has been limited to only 74 people.
Karan Johar, while sharing an Instagram story on the social
media platform, clarified that ‘I am unfollowing everyone on Instagram to
reduce my time and energy, for God’s sake don’t make this national news, find
another clickbait, it is not important’.
On the other hand, a report in the Indian media claimed that
this move by Karan Johar is just a social media strategy and there is no
personal resentment or disagreement behind it.
