Islamabad: In a major administrative development, the
Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) has declared the entire
recruitment process under the advertisements issued on October 10, October 26
and November 19, 2025 null and void. According to an official office order
issued in this regard, this decision will come into effect immediately.
According to the notification, all appointments and offer
letters issued under the said advertisements have been cancelled, while all
those cases which are still in the final approval stage will also be considered
closed. The order has clarified that all actions taken under the said
recruitment process will now be considered “Null and Void”.
The office order further stated that based on the initial
report of the five-member Departmental Scrutiny Committee, Director
Establishment Fakhar Zaman Wahla and Deputy Director Communication and
Information Furqan Zafar have been suspended for three months, or until further
orders.
According to the notification, both the suspended officers
have been directed to avoid accessing the PARC headquarters and relevant
official records during the suspension. They have also been made obliged to
ensure their attendance at the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC)
daily and to appear before the concerned authorities when summoned during the
inquiry.
