Life without smart glasses will be difficult in the future, Mark Zuckerberg

California: Facebook founder and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said that it will be difficult to imagine life without smart glasses in the future. Zuckerberg said this during Meta’s fiscal 2025 quarterly report presentation ceremony and highlighted the company’s plans for AI smart glasses.

Mark Zuckerberg said that billions of people in the world use glasses or contact lenses to save their vision, and he believes that just as smartphones changed the landscape of mobile phones, most glasses will take the form of AI smart glasses in a few years.

He said that sales of Meta’s smart glasses increased threefold in the past year and are among the fastest-growing devices in the history of electronics.

In addition to Meta, Google is also preparing to launch smart glasses this year, while Apple plans to introduce smart glasses in the next year or two, Snap has also established a separate subsidiary for its AR glasses space to focus more on its development and marketing.

Meta has introduced various models of AI glasses to the market, including Oakley smart glasses that are designed for use during exercise, and these are considered to be among the most effective and interesting uses ever.
