Punjab Safe Cities Authority is continuing its vigorous and
continuous operations against fake and phishing e-challan websites.
With the cooperation of the PTA, more than 100 fake and
phishing websites that were robbing citizens in the name of e-challan have been
blocked. The fake websites blocked include echallan-psca.top, pscaechallan.com,
echallanpunjab.com, pscaechallan.vip and many other domains.
The Safe City spokesperson said that fake websites were
involved in illegally making online payments from citizens through e-challans.
Citizens should never make e-challan payments on any unverified or suspicious
website. Citizens should only use Safe City’s official website
echallan.psca.gop.pk or the Public Safety App to verify e-challans.
The spokesperson further said that legal and disciplinary
action has been further intensified against fake websites created in the name
of Safe City, and a zero-tolerance policy is being adopted against elements
involved in misleading citizens and fraud.
