The dispute between Indian and Bangladesh Cricket Boards intensifies
as ICC has not taken a final decision on sending the Bangladesh cricket team to
India despite the passage of two weeks.
On the other hand, the Indian media has termed the statement
of Bangladesh Sports Advisor Asif Nazrul as false, saying that no security
report was shared with the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
According to Indian media, the ICC says that the World Cup
will go on as per its scheduled schedule.
Bangladesh Sports Advisor Asif Nazrul, while maintaining his
anti-India stance, has stated that he will not send his team to India under any
circumstances. He stated that the letter sent by the ICC has imposed three
conditions that are unacceptable to Bangladesh.
According to Asif Nazrul, these conditions include not
including Mustafizur Rahman in the team, preventing spectators from wearing the
Bangladesh jersey, and not holding general elections in Bangladesh during the
World Cup.
