Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA)
has announced the auction of 5G spectrum on March 10. Chairman Pakistan
Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Hafeez-ur-Rehman says that the dream of
Digital Pakistan is unfulfilled without better connectivity, and internet
problems will be solved after the 5G auction.
He said that 5G mobile phones are available in the market
even for 40 thousand rupees, and companies are starting the facility of giving
mobile phones in installments as well.
Director General Licensing Amir Shahzad says that 101
countries in the world have launched 5G service, the auction of 5G spectrum in
Pakistan will be held on March 10, we know that connectivity is affected due to
load shedding in rural areas, but the service will improve with the arrival of
new spectrum.
