How many days of fasting will Ramadan consist of this year?

Karachi: The Meteorological Department has predicted the Shawwal moon, which can be used to estimate how many days of fasting are likely to be observed this Ramadan.

The Meteorological Department said that the Shawwal moon is unlikely to be sighted on 29th Ramadan, the moon will be born on March 19 at 6:23 am, while its age is likely to be 12 to 13 hours by evening.

It was further informed that the moon is unlikely to be sighted on the evening of March 19. If the Meteorological Department’s prediction proves correct, Eid-ul-Fitr is more likely to occur on Saturday, March 21, after the completion of the 30-day month.
