Delivery of ATM cards has started in Punjab for payment of
the Ramadan Nigahban package.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed gratitude for the
issuance of the Nigahban ATM card, under the package, 40 million families will
be given financial assistance of Rs. 40 billion. People will not have long
queues or hardship for the package, but financial assistance will be provided
easily.
The entire system for payment of financial assistance to 40
million families under the Ramadan Nigahban package will be completely digital
and transparent, the public can contact the helpline 2345-08000 for information.160
special centers will also be established in each tehsil for the Ramadan
Nigahban package.
Talking about this, Maryam Nawaz said that our mission is
that no family should feel alone during Ramadan. The financial assistance for
ration cards during Ramadan has been increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000 per
month.
She said that iftar will be organized for millions of
fasting people every day through Nighaban Dastarkhwan in every tehsil of
Punjab.
Maryam Nawaz said that during Ramadan, the provision of essential commodities at subsidized rates will be ensured in convenience markets.
