PTI fails to deliver for people relief despite 13 years rule in KP: Muqam

Federal Minister for Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan Affairs and

SAFRON Engr Amir Muqam here Sunday, the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa gave PTI the

mandate three times, yet instead of providing relief, they are being pushed into difficulties and

hardship.

"Sometimes there is a shut-down strike, sometimes a wheel-jam strike, and now roads are

being blocked in the name of one person’s release. As a result, patients are dying in

ambulances, people are missing their flights, and there are severe difficulties in the timely

supply of food items."

He expressed these views while addressing an open court (Khuli Kachehri) at Fizagat, Swat, on

Sunday.

A well-attended and effective open court was held in Fizagat, Swat, under the chairmanship of

Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam, in which party office-bearers, workers, and hundreds

of citizens participated. Heads of federal departments and senior officials were also present.

The Federal Minister listened in detail to public complaints and issued on-the-spot instructions

to the relevant authorities for resolving several issues.

While addressing the gathering, Engineer Amir Muqam said that the ban imposed on gas

connections in Malakand by PTI in 2018 has been lifted, and work on gas supply projects in

various areas is progressing rapidly.

Criticizing the current provincial government, he said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

gave a mandate three times, yet instead of providing relief, they are being pushed into great

hardship and the masses will make PTI accountable during next election in KP.

Expressing regret, he said it is beyond comprehension that the very people who gave the

mandate three times are now being subjected to such difficulties and problems.

The Federal Minister clarified that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz

Sharif, the federal government’s primary agenda is to provide relief to the public without

discrimination. He said that facilities are being provided to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

on merit, and the Ramadan relief package for deserving individuals has been significantly

increased from Rs 5,000 last year to Rs. 13,000 this year.

The PM Ramazan package was a great relief to the masses.

Engineer Amir Muqam reaffirmed that Pakistan Muslim League (N) believes in public service,

development, and genuine relief-oriented politics, and that all possible measures will continue

to be taken to resolve public issues in Swat and across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
