The tragic incident that took place in the Qasimabad Bazaar
area of Rawalpindi spread fear and panic in the city, where two women and a
man died as a result of firing. As soon as Rescue 1122 received information,
rescue teams reached the spot and the bodies were shifted to the hospital for
legal action.
According to rescue officials, the deceased have been
identified as Hassan alias Badshah and his wife Noor, while the other woman has
been identified as Nida. According to the police, the initial investigation is
calling the incident a case of family feud and forensic evidence is being
collected.
Sources say that a close relative of the deceased allegedly
opened fire and killed the three, but the accused has not yet been brought to
justice. Police officials said that investigations are underway into various
aspects of the incident and an arrest is expected soon.
On the other hand, local residents and some local sources
have claimed that there may be a dispute over alleged immoral activities in the
background of the incident, but the police have not confirmed this claim and
the official position is that the murder is the result of a family dispute.
