The first solar eclipse of the year will take place on February 17.

Houston: Astronomers said that the first solar eclipse of this year is coming on February 17, however, it will not be visible in most countries in Asia, including Pakistan.

According to a report by Space.com, this eclipse will be visible in a remote part of Antarctica and the sun will look like a ball of fire, which will happen when the moon comes directly in front of the sun in its elliptical orbit.

The moon cannot completely cover the sun, so the sun's rays will appear reddish and the moon's shadow will spread over the sun and the sun will also present a bright moon-like view. This will create the Ring of Fire scene in the next phase and this will happen when the moon is directly in front of the sun.

According to experts, at this time the sky will become slightly darker and the outer edge of the sun will look like a golden ring and this scene will be visible in different parts of Antarctica and will last for about two hours, after which the golden ring will gradually start to disappear.

Similarly, in the third phase, the moon will start moving away from the sun and in the final phase, it will completely move away from the front.

Although this solar eclipse will be visible in some areas of Antarctica, experts have warned that looking directly at it can be dangerous to eyesight, so if anyone wants to watch it, they should use special glasses or a solar filter.

About two weeks later, on March 3, the moon will appear reddish in the sky, which is called a blood moon. This will also be the first blood moon of the year and will be visible in North America, East Asia and Australia.
