Tehran: Iranian media has confirmed that National Security chief
Ali Larijani, along with his son Morteza, have been martyred in an Israeli
attack.
Earlier, a handwritten message was released from Ali
Larijani’s social media account, paying tribute to the martyrs. Israel had
claimed to have targeted Ali Larijani and Basij Force Commander Gholam Reza
Soleimani yesterday.
The Revolutionary Guards had also confirmed the martyrdom of
Iran’s Basij Force Commander Gholam Reza Soleimani, and had said that after the
martyrdom of Basij Force Commander Gholam Reza Soleimani, they would never give
up their spirit of avenging blood.
In an interview given to Arab TV, Iranian Foreign Minister
Abbas Araqchi said that the system cannot be shaken by the martyrdom of
individual leaders. This is a system that is based on institutions. The most
important person is the Supreme Leader. Despite the martyrdom of our Supreme
Leader, the system did not change.
