Trump stops Israel from attacking Iran's Pars gas field

Washington: US President Donald Trump has said that Israel has been stopped from further attacks on Iran’s South Pars gas field, but if Iran continues to attack Gulf countries, the US will take action itself.

US President Donald Trump has said that he will not allow Israel to attack Iran’s South Pars natural gas field again, but he warned that if Iran continues to target energy facilities in Gulf countries, the US itself may destroy the gas field.

Trump’s statement came at a time when Iran has attacked gas and oil facilities in various Gulf countries. These attacks targeted a major gas center in Qatar as well as oil and gas facilities in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

These actions were carried out by Iran in response to the Israeli attack, which targeted Iran’s important South Pars gas field. This war has been going on since February 28 and tensions in the region have been rising continuously.

Trump said on his social media platform Truth Social that Israel attacked South Pars out of anger over the situation in the Middle East, but according to him, only a small part of the gas field was affected in the attack.

The US president claimed that the US had no prior knowledge of the attack, but according to US and Israeli officials, there was coordination between the two countries in this operation.
