Mumbai: After 3 decades of the success of the famous Bollywood film ‘Khal Naik’, actor Sanjay Dutt has announced the return of his famous character ‘Biloo’.
According to the report, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt said in
a statement that the new project will present the legacy of the original film
in a new and modern way.
Sanjay Dutt shared his first look on Instagram, in which he
is seen in a tough and energetic manner. He wrote in his post that every story
has its time and its time has come, Khal Naik Returns.
The actor said that ‘this idea came to him during his prison
days, when he asked his fellow prisoners if they would like to see this story
again? About 4 thousand prisoners responded positively and gave their opinion
in writing.
Sanjay Dutt later shared the idea with the film's original
director, Subhash Ghai, who described it as a reflection of the actor's
"inner desire and passion" and said that "Khal Naik" is a
legend in the entertainment world.
It should be noted that this film, released in 1993, also
starred Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles, and is
considered one of the most influential films of the 1990s.
