Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, is unlikely to attend the PTI rally in Mardan.
According to PTI sources, Mahmood Khan Achakzai is unhappy
with the PTI leadership for not taking him into confidence regarding the Mardan
rally. Party sources said that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi chose the date of
the Mardan rally, while PTI founder Imran Khan gave the authority to hold the
rally and protest to Mahmood Achakzai.
PTI sources also said that Atif Khan had called Mahmood
Achakzai regarding participation in the rally, but Mahmood Achakzai did not
show willingness to attend the rally.
In this regard, Provincial Minister Mina Khan said that all
matters will be looked into in consultation with Mahmood Achakzai, the orders
for the Mardan rally were from PTI founder Imran Khan.
