Markets and shopping malls in Islamabad have also been ordered to close at 8 pm

Islamabad: A notification has been issued in the federal capital Islamabad regarding the new working hours for closing all shops, markets and shopping malls at 8 pm.

According to the notification, medical stores, hospitals, petrol pumps and dairy shops will be exempted from the ban. Restaurants, hotels, bakeries, grocery stores, meat, fruit and vegetable shops will close at 10 pm, there will be no ban on takeaway and home delivery services.

According to the notification, it has been made mandatory to close wedding halls, marquees and all functions by 10 pm, private functions will also have to end by 10 pm.

Gyms, clubs and sports facilities in Islamabad have been directed to close at 8 pm. The orders will come into effect immediately, and will remain in force until further orders.
