Board convenes immediate meeting after contempt petition
The matter has taken a serious turn after the contempt
petition filed in the Islamabad High Court by Chairman Syed Sajid Shah Gilani,
Muhammad Munawar and others in the case related to the victims of Thalla Syedan
and Jhungi Syedan.
The petitioner has taken the position that the Federal
Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) is not implementing the clear
orders of the Supreme Court, which have been pointed out before the court.
After the petition, keeping in mind the seriousness of the
situation, the Executive Board of the Federal Government Employees Housing
Authority (FGEHA) has convened an immediate meeting. The meeting will consider
effective measures to ensure the implementation of the court orders and resolve
the matter.
In this case, renowned lawyers Malik Zaheer Awan Advocate,
Raja Abdul Hafeez Advocate, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Basra Advocate, Ghulam
Yasin Awan Advocate, Malik Muhammad Zubair Advocate, Hasina Khan Joyia
Advocate, Malik Iftikhar Awan Advocate and Muhammad Akhtar Khokhar Advocate are
representing the petitioners.
