Lahore: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has announced the
moon sighting of Dhul-Qa'dah 1447 AH.
Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul
Khabir Azad, while making a formal announcement, said that evidence of moon
sighting has been received from different parts of the country, according to
which 1st Dhul-Qaida 1447 AH will be on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
It should be noted that according to Suparco, the new moon
was born on April 17 at 4:52 pm and the chances of sighting on the evening of
April 18 were very bright.
Talking to the media, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad said that
the weather was clear in some places across the country and cloudy in others,
evidence of moon sighting has been received from different parts of the
country.
He said that he prays that Allah may protect Pakistan from
internal and external threats. I pay tribute to the efforts of Field Marshal
Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for peace in the region. The
country's top leadership has made Pakistan proud.
