Islamabad: Azad Group held a strong protest demonstration against the forced dismissals of media workers and the termination of employees without notice by the Suno TV administration. A large number of journalists and media workers participated in the protest and shouted slogans against the administration's behavior.
After the protest, taking strict action by the Federal
Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, banned all
advertisements on Suno TV until it reinstates its journalists again.

administration without any prior notice is tantamount to economic murder.
He strongly convinced the administration to stop this
cruelty and let the media workers to live. Shakeel Qarar further said that
making journalists unemployed in this worst period of inflation is pushing
their families towards starvation.
