Attaullah Tarar bans all kinds of advertisements for Suno TV


 Islamabad: Azad Group held a strong protest demonstration against the forced dismissals of media workers and the termination of employees without notice by the Suno TV administration. A large number of journalists and media workers participated in the protest and shouted slogans against the administration's behavior.

After the protest, taking strict action by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, banned all advertisements on Suno TV until it reinstates its journalists again.

Addressing the protesters, former President of the National Press Club Shakeel Qarar said that the termination of employees by the Suno TV administration without any prior notice is tantamount to economic murder.

He strongly convinced the administration to stop this cruelty and let the media workers to live. Shakeel Qarar further said that making journalists unemployed in this worst period of inflation is pushing their families towards starvation.

He demanded that all the terminated employees be reinstated immediately. The series of forced dismissals should be stopped, and protection should be provided to the media workers.
