The 11-year-old girl kidnapped from Peshawar has been
recovered; however, the main characters involved in this sad and inhumane
incident are still beyond the reach of the law, which is causing serious
concern in public circles.
According to sources, the kidnapping of the girl and her
subsequent alleged sale and purchase have further strengthened the fears of a
dangerous and organized network of human trafficking.
According to reports, an alleged dacoit involved in the
case, Waheed, was killed in a police encounter; however, other main characters
involved in the alleged sale and purchase of the girl are still roaming free.
Sources say that a person named “Qari” Abdullah Jan, who is said to be a
resident of Islamabad, traded the girl in the Jangi Syedan area and later
sold her to other people on the pretext of marriage.
According to sources, the minor girl was being transferred
from one hand to another, while alleged facilitators from different areas were
also involved in this whole matter. Some people in Islamabad and Kutch areas,
including a person named “Kari”, are allegedly involved in this heinous
business.
The worrying thing is that Islamabad Police, Punjab Police
and Sindh Police seem to have failed to arrest these main characters so far,
although many important information related to different aspects of the case
has come to light.
Public and social circles have reacted strongly to this
matter and demanded that all those involved in the alleged trafficking and sale
of girls be immediately arrested and strict legal action be taken so that such
elements can be brought to justice and justice can be provided to the affected
family.
