plan to remove immigrants from jobs, housing and healthcare, a move that will
increase pressure on legally residing citizens to leave the United States.
According
to media reports, several employees with Social Security numbers who have
worked at Boston Airport for 3 decades have been laid off. The Trump
administration has decided to allow access to US citizens, green card holders
and some others.
According
to reports, immigrants are being turned away from jobs, medical care, financial
services, tax credits, day care. The Trump administration aims to make
immigrants leave the US, and prevent those who come to the US from receiving
benefits.
Many immigrants have stopped filing tax returns, seeing doctors and going to politics out of fear. 116,000 people without permanent legal status have left the US.
