Hassan Abdal police succeeded in arresting Farjad, a wanted
person on serious charges including kidnapping, illegal detention, extortion
and serious threats. According to police officials, the accused is named in a
major criminal case in the region and the investigation process is expected to
reveal new dimensions of the case.
Based on the information contained in case number 261/26
registered at the Sadr Hassan Abdal police station, charges such as kidnapping,
illegal detention of persons, extortion, threatening serious harm and
consequences, and forcible entry into a house have been registered against the
person. The investigation into these charges is still ongoing.
After arresting the accused, the police produced him in the
court, stating in their application that they need more time to complete the
investigation process and take some investigative and possible measures. In
this regard, the police requested seven days of temporary detention of the
accused.
After reviewing the documents and evidence provided, the
court agreed to part of the police request and ordered the accused to be
remanded in custody for five days to conduct an additional investigation during
this period.
Police sources have announced that the investigation team is
investigating all aspects of the case, and the interrogation of the accused may
reveal new facts and clarify hidden angles in the case. In addition, law enforcement
agencies are following up on all aspects of the matter so that the
investigation process is completed in accordance with the law.
Finally, the court ordered that the accused be produced
before the court again on June 8, 2026, after the expiration of the temporary
detention period, so that a progress report on the investigation can be
submitted and the court proceedings can continue.
