Islamabad: For the first time in history, a special app called “Mahfuz Muharram” has been developed.

Islamabad: Imambargahs, gatherings, and processions in Islamabad will be digitally monitored using drones. A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to discuss security and other arrangements for Muharram.

The Interior Minister ordered a 4-tier fence and strict checking at the entrance and exit points to protect gatherings and processions, and said that close contact should be maintained with the scholars to maintain peace and order.

For the first time in the capital's history, a special app called Safe Muharram has been developed. Through the app, citizens will be able to report suspicious persons, suspicious activities or incomplete security arrangements.

Citizens will also be provided with the facility of live location and image sharing. In addition, a central control room has also been established in Safe City.
