Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the
modern "proof of life" system for pensioners.
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Sharif stated that they
are working tirelessly for the development of the country and that the new
system represents a great benefit for pensioners.
The Prime Minister extended his sincere congratulations to
everyone involved, especially the Minister of Finance and Dr. Tauqir, Chairman
of NADRA, for their excellent work.
Sharif stated that the new biometric and facial verification
system is a service to humanity and will simplify procedures for the elderly
and disabled.
The Prime Minister added that the new system will eliminate
the need for pensioners to visit banks. NADRA has provided a modern application
and a free pension verification system.
