New York: The New York Times, while exposing Israel's
inhumane act, has stated that Israel has attacked Lebanon with extremely deadly
chemicals.
Israel has used toxic white phosphorus several times in
densely populated areas of Lebanon. The flammable and controversial chemical
substance is extremely deadly to the human body. The chemical substance is
capable of causing severe injuries to the human body.
According to the report, the Israeli army also used white
phosphorus in southern Lebanon on May 30. The same toxic chemical was also used
to capture the historic Beaufort Fort.
The New York Times, with the help of experts and videos,
confirmed the attack on Nabatieh with toxic chemicals and said that the
spraying of toxic chemicals was seen on a city with a population of about
40,000.
According to the American newspaper, white phosphorus was
also used in the Lebanese cities of Tyre, Al-Qali'ah, Khayyam and Yahmer. The
highly toxic white phosphorus causes severe explosions and fires as soon as it
dissolves in the air. During war, the chemical is used to start fires and
produce smoke.
It should be noted that the use of white phosphorus in
densely populated and urban areas is prohibited under the Geneva Convention.
