Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee declared a banned organization

Muzaffarabad: The Jammu Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee has been declared a banned organization. The Home Department of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has issued an important notification. The organization operating under the names of Jammu Kashmir Action Committee, Joint Public Action Committee, and Public Action Committee has been included in the First Schedule.

According to the Azad Kashmir Home Department, the organization has been declared banned under the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Terrorism Act 2014. According to the notification, the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has approved declaring the organization a proscribed organization.

According to the Azad Kashmir government, there is reasonable evidence against the organization of harming peace and security. The notification states that the organization was found to be involved in creating chaos in the state.

The notification of the Home Department has accused the organization of promoting hatred and disturbing the peace of the state. The Action Committee was declared banned under Section 12 of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Terrorism Act 2014.

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Home Department also included all the alternative names of the Action Committee in the notification. According to the notification, action will be taken against the banned organization as per the law.

A notification was sent to all Deputy Commissioners, SSPs, CTD and Special Branch. The organization was declared banned under the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Terrorism Act 2014.
