Quetta: The implementation of the provisions of the
agreement decided between the Balochistan government and the Dharna Committee
has begun. The provincial government has decided to name government buildings,
police stations, educational institutions and health centers in Ziarat after
the martyrs of the Ziarat tragedy.
The Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Balochistan
has issued formal letters to the Home Department, Education Department and
Health Department of Balochistan, directing them to complete the process of
changing the names of the relevant government buildings and obtain approval
from the competent authority.
The names of 4 police stations in Ziarat district will be
changed. Police Station Sarmaksi will be named Shaheed Hasratullah Kakar Police
Station, Police Station Dossarka Shabozai will be named Shaheed Jindad Khan
Police Station, Police Station Mangi will be named Shaheed Zainullah Panizai
Police Station, Police Station Zandra will be named Shaheed Major Zaman Panizai
Police Station.
Government schools will also be named after martyrs. Kan
Depot School will be named as Shaheed Constable Mustafa Khan Government Boys
High School Kan Depot, Kan Depot Girls Middle School will be named as Shaheed
Constable Muhammad Asif Girls Middle School Kan Depot, Government Boys High
School Kawas Gharbi will be named as Shaheed Constable Muhammad Usman
Government Boys High School Kawas Gharbi.
It was also decided to name two centers of the health
department after the martyrs. Rural Health Center Ahmadun will be named after
"Martyr Constable Azhar Ahmed Damar Rural Health Center Ahmadun",
Basic Health Unit Kawas West will be named as Shaheed Faridullah BHU Kawas
West.
Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti said that the
government is ensuring full implementation of every point of the promises and
agreements made with the martyrs.
He said that the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the
defense of the homeland, establishment of peace and protection of the lives and
property of the people are the pride of the entire nation. Naming government
institutions after the martyrs is an effective effort to keep their great
sacrifices alive forever.
