Washington: White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt said
in a news briefing that US President Donald Trump will go to watch the final of
the Football World Cup. She said that the Football World Cup was a success and
the number of fans during the matches broke all records.
Talking about Iran, Caroline Levitt said that an
investigation into the attack on an Iranian school is underway, and the US
military never targets children and civilians. The White House spokesperson
claimed that talks between Iran and the US are ongoing and Iran is willing to agree.
She alleged that Iran violated the Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) by targeting ships in the Strait of Hormuz, which led to
the recent attacks.
Caroline Levitt said that Iran cannot be allowed to possess
nuclear weapons under any circumstances, and it will have to pay the price for
its actions.
