Iranian Interior Minister visits Pakistan Monument, attends Martyrs' Memorial

 

Islamabad: Iranian Interior Minister Sikandar Momeni visited the Pakistan Monument during his visit to Pakistan, where he was received by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry.

On this occasion, a smart and well-dressed contingent of the Federal Constabulary presented a guard of honor to the Iranian Interior Minister. Sikandar Momeni visited the Martyrs’ Memorial, laid a wreath and recited Fateha. He paid tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs and appreciated their services.

During the visit, the Iranian Interior Minister was also briefed on the historical importance of the Pakistan Monument. He appreciated the historical and national importance of the Martyrs’ Memorial and the Pakistan Monument, while also observing the city of Islamabad and the Margalla mountain range from Shakar Parian.

IG Federal Constabulary Riaz Nazir Gada, DIG Islamabad and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
