Majid Sati murder case, court sentences Farrukh Khokhar to life imprisonment


Islamabad: Additional District and Sessions Judge sentenced the main accused, Farrukh Khokhar, to life imprisonment in the Majid Sati murder case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Afsha Ijaz Sufi, while delivering the verdict in the Majid Sati murder case, sentenced three criminals, including Farrukh Khokhar to life imprisonment after being found guilty, while one accused, Waseem, was acquitted.

After the sentence was pronounced, the three criminals present in the courtroom, including Farrukh Khokhar, were arrested. The criminal Farrukh Khokhar was on bail, while the other two criminals were brought from jail and presented in court. The court ordered Farrukh Khokhar to be sent to Adiala Jail under tight security.

A large number of heirs and relatives of the deceased were present in the judicial complex when the verdict was announced. A large number of supporters of the co-accused, including the culprits Farrukh Khokhar, also reached the judicial complex. Strict security arrangements were made in the judicial complex to maintain law and order.

The accused are accused of brutally killing Majid Sati on August 23, 2022. The Sadiqabad police station had registered a case. The deceased Majid Sati belonged to the PTI and Majid Sati was killed when he tried to stop him from occupying the plot. Farrukh Khokhar had resigned from the PPP and joined the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.
