Nadeem Nasir appointed new Deputy Commissioner, Hasan Mushtaq Sukhira appointed CPO Rawalpindi, several officers assigned new responsibilities

The Punjab government has issued orders for appointments and transfers in important administrative posts, including Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, City Police Officer (CPO) and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) in Rawalpindi division, making a large-scale administrative reshuffle.

According to the notification, several senior officers have been assigned new responsibilities, while some officers have been directed to report.

According to a government notification, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hassan Waqar Cheema has been transferred, while Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Captain (retd) Nadeem Nasir has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi. He has been directed to take charge of his post immediately.

In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Multan Muhammad Noman Siddique has been appointed Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, while Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Multan Hafiz Mudassar Nawaz has been given the additional charge of Deputy Commissioner Multan to maintain continuity in administrative matters.

In a major change in the police sector, DIG Operations Punjab Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera has been appointed as City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi.

On the other hand, the current CPO Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani has been transferred and directed to report to the City Police Office Punjab.

In a further change in the administrative structure, Commissioner Rawalpindi Abdul Hameed Khattak has also been transferred. According to the notification, he has been directed to report to the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD).

Similarly, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Rawalpindi Captain (R) Shehryar Shirazi has also been transferred and directed to report to S&GAD.

In his place, Captain (R) Tayyab Sami Khan has been appointed as the new Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Rawalpindi, while he has been directed to assume his responsibilities immediately.

According to government sources, these appointments and transfers have been made with the aim of improving administrative efficiency, making governance more effective and improving the delivery of public services.
