Protests outside Modi's residence intensify, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi arrested

New Delhi: Protests against the Modi government's policies have intensified in India, with thousands of students taking to the streets demanding educational reforms.

According to Indian media, students marched towards Parliament, which was stopped by police with tear gas and baton charges.

According to reports, the protests intensified after Sonam Wangchuck was shifted to the hospital, while protesters demanded the resignations of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Education Minister.

Indian media says that there was tension between students and police during the Parliament march, while various social activists also came out in support of the protesters.

Slogans of Modi's resignation also echoed during the protest.

On the other hand, Indian police have arrested opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.

According to Indian media, the police detained the two leaders during a protest outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence. As per reports, the police took action to stop the protest, during which Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were arrested and transferred.
