Petrol Pump Owners Association announces nationwide strike.

Karachi: The All Pakistan Petrol Pump Owners Association has announced an indefinite strike across the country from 12 midnight on July 22 after its demands were not met.

According to the association, the talks with the Federal Minister for Petroleum did not lead to any positive outcome. The talks failed due to lack of agreement on key demands, including an increase in margins and implementation of daily prices.

The association has announced that all petrol pumps across the country will be completely closed from 12 midnight on July 22 and the strike will continue until the demands are met. Directing petrol pump owners to participate fully in the strike, the association has appealed to maintain unity and ensure peaceful protest.

The association has demanded that the government take a positive and acceptable decision on the legitimate demands of petrol pump owners; otherwise, the nationwide strike will continue until the demands are met.
