Lahore: The Education Authority Lahore has prepared its inquiry report on the incident of the roof collapse of a tuition center in Kahna and sent it to the district administration.
According to the report, the tuition center that was the
victim of the accident was located in a residential house and was not
registered with any government agency. The woman was privately tutoring the
children of her relatives.
The report states that 25 to 30 children were studying in
the tuition center at the time of the accident.
According to CEO of the Education Authority Lahore, Tariq
Mahmood, there is no formal system for registering tuition centers located in
homes, and private tuition centers operating in residential homes do not even
come under the purview of the education department.
According to the report, the district administration will
determine the future course of action and possible measures in light of the
incident.
