Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister
Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif congratulated the nation on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Saw) and
prayed for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the country.
In his message, President Asif Ali Zardari stated that, as
the Muslim community of Muhammad (peace be upon him), it is our responsibility
to demonstrate justice, tolerance, interfaith and interconfessional harmony,
and the protection of human dignity in our society.
Asif Ali Zardari urged the new generation to be inspired by
good character and to make knowledge, integrity, hard work, and service to
humanity the goal of their lives.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif expressed that the
role model (peace be upon him) is a beacon for religious and secular reform,
well-being, and exemplary success for all Muslims. The figure of the Holy
Prophet (peace be upon him) is the finest example of the teachings of the
blessed religion of Islam.
Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said: "Let us commit ourselves
to embracing the principle of truth in our character, individual attitudes, and
collective behavior, and to fulfilling our role in making Pakistan a strong,
prosperous, peaceful, and prosperous state."
